I’m having so much fun pulling out my decorations, and re-living the nostalgia and memories behind each ornament, glass decoration and garland sprig.
This year, I’m focusing on my table decor as a way to keep Christmas cheer alive. A classic red and green tablescape was inspired by my collection of glass Christmas trees and a large glass Santa, which brings to MY Table a “touch of whimsy”. I added a bit of fresh greenery, some lights and candles to a Pottery Barn rich red table runner lined with red and white poms!
The touch of green needed for an added pop of color is found on the green and white ‘tree-patterned’ salad plates and matching napkins from Crate and Barrel. To finish off the look, I added a sprig of fresh rosemary and a polka dot ornament to each plate for added whimsy. This is a perfect table for a simple brunch or light dinner during the holiday season. Enjoy a touch of whimsy and stay healthy and well this season!
